From Stuttgart main Station or airport, take S-Bahn lines (suburban rail)  S1, S2 or S3 in the direction of Vahingen and get off at the stop »Universität«. Follow the exit sign »Wohngebiet Schranne/ Endelbang«. From here it is a ten-minute walk to the institute (about 500m).

By car

Driving on the A8 Autobahn from the direction of Karlsruhe or Munich, you will reach the Stuttgart interchange (Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart). Change her to the A 81 / A 381 following the signs to Stuttgart-Zentrum (city center). Continue to the exit »Universität« (university), then turn left at the traffic lights into Universitätstraße, which leads into Nobelstraße after about 120 m later. The entrance to the Institute Center is on the right, just beyond the »Nobelstraße« bus stop. Parking is available in the institute center’s parking garage.

By Regionalexpress RE (Stuttgart - Esslingen - Plochingen) or by S-Bahn line S1 (Herrenberg - Stuttgart - Kirchheim) and get off at the stop »Esslingen«. At the train station Esslingen: take the Bus 105 and get off at the stop »Hochschulzentrum«. Or Bus 111 and get off at the stop »Flandernstraße«.

Autobahn A 8 Stuttgart - Munich. Continue to the exit »Esslingen«, then drive in the direction of Esslingen or B 10 and take the exit »Esslingen-Stadtmitte« (city center).
